Our farm is nestled in the foothills of Northern Kentucky.
We are located between Louisville, KY. and Cincinnati, OH., approximately 25 miles south of Cincinnati. It is peaceful, quiet and the views are breathtaking.
In this environment, we not only appreciate the beauty of God's creation, but we also grow produce, and raise farm animals in a clean, natural environment, using eco-friendly, or "green" techniques that give back to the soil, instead of stripping the soil. This means we have healthy plants and animals, and all of the ingredients and crops we produce are free of chemicals and pollution.
Our farm animals receive naturali, holistic remedies instead of chemical dewormers, antibiotics and medications.
Of course, should we have to medicate an animal to save it, we will do so, and not use any milk, or other products from that animal until we know for sure that the medication is completely out of their system.
We are a family that is more concerned about our health, our children's health and our animals' health than a "bottom line".
Big farm businesses think that an abundant crop can only be realized by using chemical fertilizers to increase production, chemical insecticides to minimize loss, chemical defoliants to eliminate the competition for soil with weeds, and genetically altered seeds that are "developed" in the laboratory to withstand these chemicals, even when sprayed directly on the crops.
As a result, the chemicals sprayed on the crops are absorbed into the produce that finds its way to our family tables and into our bodies.
So, we decided that the only way to stay healthy is to grow our own food in order to eliminate the chemicals.
Hand-made Products and Farm Life
We are a small family run farm. We make all of our products here, on the farm, by hand. We don't use machinery to pick our produce,
or to save us time in making up the soaps, lotions, gift baskets or other products we sell. We do it all by hand. So, you may find us in the field
tending to the chickens and gathering eggs, feeding the goats, tending the bee hives, making soap, or even homeschooling children.
And we might be out of a special soap that you want, but we'll make it for you, and you can count on it being high-quality, natural, and good for you.
